Do you know how to survive a zombie apocalypse?

My living conditions right now leave me prepared. I have 2 years worth of food in the root cellars, many firearms, secluded location and running water (river access, 3 wells, 1 spring). I do not live here in case of zombies, I'm just lucky. If it were about zombies I would build fire pits to trap them, burn them. I would not want to shoot a zombie. Zombie gak might splash on me. I do not want zombie gak on me. I assume electricity would be gone, my generators will do for my house. I don't know if zombies are attracted to light so I will not run electricity at night till I know. Hygiene products -- toilet paper -- I have electronics for entertainment. I might rescue some scantily-clad teenage girls to repopulate wit -- Oh, you said realistic -- the girls are imaginary anyway. I need to know this: Would my livestock change into zombies? That would really suck. My plans would be a bit different if I had that knowledge. Flesh eating chickens?
