Help with a show coat?

Been looking around on Dover Saddlery for awhile.. We're looking for a show coat that could be used in a walk-trot-canter class and hunter/jumper class. Maybe even dressage. I was thinking a black or grey coat would be a medium that could be a general purpose coat. Any styles/brands/coats you can recommend or any tips?
